Abstract
Objectives: Dental medication information applications are critical elements in dental practice. This review focuses on updated mobile applications for dental drug information. Methods: Literature on dental drug information mobile software was reviewed using PubMed and Medline, employing various methodologies. The project analysis includes market and SWOT analyses, project team and cost management, quality requirements, and risk factors. Identified applications were evaluated based on software name, medication coverage, update frequency, and subscription models. Results: Over fifteen mobile applications suitable for dental providers were identified. The project emphasizes the use of project management tools by professionals. Selection criteria include coverage of scientific data, level of knowledge, and subscription costs, with advantages and disadvantages analyzed. Conclusion: Mobile applications for drug information are valuable and easily accessible for all dental specialties. Therefore, the adoption of dental drug information applications is highly recommended in dental care.
